Survey on Businesses' Reliance on Digital Connectivity in Solihull
Solihull Council recognises the importance of fast, accessible mobile and Wi-Fi coverage to businesses in the borough. Future housing and population growth, the challenge of achieving net zero and pressure on local government services all place even greater emphasis on strengthening and expanding the borough’s digital network to ensure that it is up to the demands being placed upon it.
Council officers are currently working with network operators and others in the industry to improve coverage across the borough. As part of this process, the council is keen to speak to and learn from businesses located in Solihull to better understand their reliance on digital and mobile devices. We would be grateful if you could complete a short survey that will help us understand the current landscape, anticipate future trends, and identify potential challenges and opportunities for businesses. Findings from the survey will be used to inform Solihull Council’s Digital Action Plan. All responses will be treated confidentially.
The deadline for completing the survey is 6pm on Thursday 21 March.
If you have any questions about the survey or would like to discuss these issues further, please contact business@solihull.gov.uk
