In recent years Solihull Council has called upon many voluntary, community and faith organisations at short notice when dealing with incidents and emergency situations. The support and assistance provided by voluntary, community and faith groups in times of crisis and emergency is invaluable. A recent workshop involving VCFSE representatives identified the need for involvement of the sector in both preparations, planning and readiness during incidents.
