Please use this form to express your interest for any of the below training sessions, this can be for you or a member of staff at your organisation who is interested in attending. Completing the form does not guarantee a spot on the training session as this depends on levels of interest and availability. If an upcoming training session is available, we will email you the details of this and booking process. If more than one person at your organisation is interested in attending, please complete the form for each individual.
Playwork Training - Children’s play contributes hugely to many of the aims of the HAF programme including: Taking part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing along with their wider educational attainment, being safe and not being socially isolated, being active during the school holidays. PLAYTIME! Is a short three hour course to develop an understanding of the role of an adult in creating supportive environments for children’s freely chosen play opportunities and introduces participants to the profession of playwork. The course is run by a nationally recognised experienced playwork trainer, is enjoyable, challenging and thought-provoking and may change the way you think about children and young people!
Team Teach - Team Teach Behaviour Support Training courses provide a holistic approach to supporting behaviour for individuals and organisations working with children and adults, in education, youth care and adult care settings. Our accredited, award-winning training helps your organisation build strong relationships and transform challenging situations into positive outcomes. We focus on teamwork and communication, to foster supportive working practices and recognise the needs of distressed individuals.
Paediatric First Aid - This blended online & face-to-face Paediatric First Aid course focuses on emergency scenarios that can happen when looking after young children and infants. This course meets the requirements of the EYFS statutory framework.
Introduction to Youth Work - This session focuses on what Youth Work is & where it takes place. It covers how we engage with young people, plan programmes with them and reflect on the environments young people inhabit.
Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion Training - This one day course trains you as a Youth MHFA Champion, giving you: An understanding of common mental health issues and how they can affect young people, Ability to spot signs of mental ill health in young people and guide them to a place of support, Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness, Skills to support positive wellbeing.
