Rowood Drive Housing Development
This survey has now closed - thank you to everyone who submitted a response. The project team will take your feedback on board as the scheme develops.
The Rowood Drive Housing Development project is a proposal for up to 34 homes to be built in Solihull. The redevelopment of Council land at Rowood Drive is a key part of our Accelerated Housing programme, which aims to increase the delivery of high-quality new homes within Solihull.
It is currently envisaged that the housing will be split between 40% social rented and 60% shared ownership. The 0.78 ha site is located in an existing residential neighbourhood less than ten minutes’ drive from Solihull town centre. You can view the proposed site’s location using the map tool below.
Under the current proposals, the site will provide:
- 4 one-bedroom maisonettes
- 6 two-bedroom maisonettes
- 11 two-bedroom houses
- 11 three-bedroom houses
- 2 four-bedroom houses
You can view illustrations of the current proposals, which will form the basis of an outline planning application, as well as a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the right-hand side of this page.
