What's happening?
Solihull Council is teaming up with Let's Experience Electric to host it's first Electric Vehicle (EV) event in the town centre on Saturday 5 April. From autonomous buses to eBikes - find out more about the growing range of electric vehicles out there and how we can support you on your own electric journey.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
Explore a wide range of EVs and speak to dealers - including BYD, Vauxhall, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Skoda Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Smart, Ford and Leapmotor
Test drive multiple EVs
Speak to industry experts about the latest advancements in EV technology
Ride a range of e-Bikes on our Active Travel Test Track
Find out more about the Council's own pioneering autonomous future mobility projects
View an EV charging demonstration from Qwello
Complete a town centre EV Trail with the family
Want to take a test drive?
Not a problem. You'll have the opportunity to take a short test drive in multiple vehicles on the day.
Test drives are registered on the day of the event, working under a first come, first served basis.
Registrations will take place from the front of the council offices, Manor Square on the day.
On the day you will need to bring:
Your UK photo card driving license
A printed copy of your Personal Driving License Check and your GET A CODE reference which you can create by visiting: www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk
Your National Insurance Number
Once verified you will receive a wristband. This will indicate to exhibitors that you are eligible for test drives.
There is no need to book in advance but to help us manage availability please use the form below to declare your interest and indicate what time you plan on arriving.
