Solihull Council recognises the importance of fast, accessible mobile and Wi-Fi coverage to businesses in the borough. Future housing and population growth, the challenge of achieving net zero and pressure on local government services all place even greater emphasis on strengthening and expanding the borough’s digital network to ensure that it is up to the demands being placed upon it.
Council officers are currently working with network operators and others in the industry to improve coverage across the borough. As part of this process, the council is keen to speak to and learn from businesses located in Solihull to better understand their reliance on digital and mobile devices.
